Corn Hole Tournament

Here at AFP we like to celebrate when we can. We make it a point to show our employees that we appreciate their hard work by taking a break to do something fun every once in a while.

We kicked off the holiday season with a company-wide chili lunch and Corn Hole tournament.

Our General Manager drew two names from each department to determine the players in the tournament. The 12 chosen representatives then competed against each other for the grand prize: free pizza for their entire department. At a later date of course, since we had all just filled up on chili and chips.

After three rounds and an unlikely comeback, the Pallet Mill representatives finished strong and won the title.

In addition to winning bragging rights until the next tournament, all the Pallet Mill employees won another lunch provided by AFP.

It was a much-needed break for us all after working hard to meet production deadlines. The only complaint was that we had to go back to work when the tournament had ended.

This is just one example of the lunches and activities we provide throughout the year to keep motivation up and show our employees how much they mean to us.

We look forward to planning our next employee appreciation event: a pizza party for the Pallet Mill!
